Another Hunt Completed *OTA*
All in all, it had been a very successful hunt, much better than the fiasco with Evan. Final score was one dead acid-creating mutant, one mutant hunter with burnt clothing and skin, and one hysterical hypnotizing mutant with a concussion. Jack, despite now being burnt (again), was feeling quite happy with this outcome. When he got back to camp, he had corralled a few of the useless MP's that were always about. They whispered behind his backs, most not believing he was truly human, but none dared to mention that his face, and all knew to obey his orders.
He had one to take El to the brig until further notice, with a warning not to look directly into her eyes. Another was sent to inform Stryker of the outcome of his hunt. There was no way in hell he was about to inform the Major that one mutant was now dead, when Jack had been specifically ordered to bring back both mutants alive. When asked what to do with Talia's corpse, Jack callously responded to leave the body where it was in the jeep. The MPs let him pass into the compound, before they all started talking among themselves. Looked like the rumor mill would be in full affect. But all the hunter wanted to do was get some medical attention and then perhaps get drunk. He walked through the hallways with a small, smug smile on his face. It had been a very good hunt indeed.
