Zero was walking around the corridor, making his usual patrol when he noticed...a kid? What the hell. Coming over for closer inspection he could have sworn he knew who this kid was. Though he'd never seen him before.

"Can I ask what you're doing?"

"I'm tryin' to stop myself from teleportin' half way across camp everytime I breathe! It's a darn site harder than I remember to stop it from happenin' though."

John stared up at Agent Zero and offered a half smile. He opened his mouth to speak and promptly vanished and reappeared behind Zero.

"GOD DAMMIT!"

Zero couldn't help the smirk that appeared on his face. He turned around to face John. "Easy, John. Try and calm down. I'm sure hyperventilating isn't going to fix it."

"That's easy for you to say! You ain't a kid!"

John huffed loudly, crossing his arms and scowling a little. It was rather tiring and tedious this lack of control over his abilties to say the least but at least it was good to see a friendly (recognisable non-child) face.

"Hows you then Zero? Bet you're jealous of us kids huh?"

The soldier had to maintain self control so he wouldn't laugh at his friend.

"Not exactly. I'm fine just as I am...any idea how or why this has happened?"

"Not a clue sadly! Though when I find out I'm gonna ask why on earth they didn't regress me back to my teenage years! At least then I could have worn my hat!"

Humour was the only way really to deal with a situation like this and John was really trying his hardest to look on the bright side.

At that Zero couldn't help but grin, and he shook his head. Of course John was looking on the bright side. Why was he surprised?

"If worse comes to worse I could always order you a little cowboy hat...and a matching pair of boots."

"Funny. Real funny. You want me to find out if I'm about the right height to kick you in the balls Zero?!"

John scowled at Zero and huffed like a typical young lad. Chest puffing out and arms crossed in some mock adult pose.
