Jamie stood and picked up his empty plate and bowl, having eaten while discussing entertaining ideas with Kurt. When he got to the sink, he frowned. There were several other dishes in there, none of them his. Jamie set about washing them.

I'm sure just about anywheres weather is nicer.
*Most places anyway. She took a sip of her drink; nowhere near as good as Asher's. But the cold, though not exactly pleasant, wasn't a huge issue for her.*

"You mentioned Africa when we met. Shame I didn't get to go there." Oh, well. Not that Jamie cared.
He made his way to the refrigerator, digging through with a frown. No decaf soda? Seriously? Oh...wait. There was one.
Jamie grabbed the can, cracking it open and taking a sip. His duplicate started towards the door of the kitchen, peering down the hall. Jamie watched him warily, tilting his head slightly. Whatever the duplicate saw, it has his attention. The duplicate returned to Jamie, reabsorbed quickly and Jamie's eyebrow went up at what he'd learned.
He really needed to ask John who the girl with wings was.
"Interesting. So where are you from?"
