The jeep rolled into the garage, and Lou was informed of who, where and when to report. Nodding intently, she took the instructions in and stepped out of the garage, looking around for the building she'd been ordered to check.
She had that to do first, and then she had her brother to find. It was high on her priority list, but with three generations of military in the family, she knew better than to skirk off orders. Even casual ones.
With her bag slung over her shoulder, her Doc Martens holding her feet to the icy ground -because the uncoordinated needed all the help they could get, Lou started towards the building pointed out to her. She wasn't even half way there when she slipped and went down, hitting the ice hard with a thump on her butt.
"Great."
