The Snowball Fight of Epic Proportions
As soon as the day was fresh and the cloaker was sure that everyone was out of their quarters, Atticus set off to do his dirty work. It wasn't hard to get them all outside. But then again, that was just all part of the fun. He lured them out one by one in different time slots. All being fully cloaked and unseen of course. When he had to speak, he did his best to do an American accent, which no one had heard him try yet. The ultimate cover.
They were all quite easy to attain, really: Nicky with an announcement of something wonderful outside, Jason that Hope wanted to see him, Bradley with a toy car leading outside, Martini a shiny coin in the snow, Magma, Kat, he merely called their names to have them wander aimlessly down the halls and into the mess. John he called out for an emergency along with Fred. And last, but not least, he left a note for Jack saying that one of his precious knives had been taken by one of the children for playing outside.
When the pons were set to play, Atticus let the snow fly. No one had really thrown anything but him. But he was invisible. How was Magma to know Fred wasn't the one who pelted her in the rear, or John that Kat was only minding her own business. She didn't throw the snow to knock off his hat. It flew here and there, there and here. Until it was coming from every which way. If you were led outside, you got hit.
