With everything being so damn cold, Jane avoiding the whole 'lets go outside during the day' thing because it was just insane, and really, he didn't like cold that much. His stint serving in Antarctica had proved that to him years ago. Instead he sat in the mess hall, his fire arm taken apart on the table in front of him, cleaning it out methodically just to pass the time.

He wasn't all about borderline obsessive gun maintenance, but a clean gun was a reliable gun, so he took the time it needed to maintain that. And right now, all he had was time.

He just needed to remember not to mix up the gun oil and his mug of tea.
