Atticus was in the rec room playing his guitar calmly to himself. He'd had a nice night's sleep for once, thanks to Hope, and he was feeling well. He looked up and smiled when he saw Fred.

"Afternoon Fred, how are you doing?"

"Hungry. That's how I'm doin'."

He regarded the older man, smiled briefly, and picked up one of the large sandwiches, taking a huge bite out of it. He asked Atticus a question, but it was obstructed by a mouthful of food.

Atticus chuckled both at the question and Fred's attempt to ask him one. He stopped playing his guitar and let it rest in his lap.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

Fred swallowed, his food not completely chewed. It sat in his stomach like a lump and he grimaced.

"Apologies. You handlin' the move alright?"

He dismissed it with his hand before scratching at the side of his face.

"Just fine, thank you. Cold isn't exactly a close friend of mine but I'm enduring. This facility is much nicer than what we previously had at least...what about yourself?"

Let's see, I keep having dreams that make me holler and wake up my roommate, but other than that I'm peachy. Fred sighed.

"Don't mind the cold. Actually it don't bother me in the body I'm in. I noticed the showers are plenty big, speakin' of size. Jes' gotta figure out the right time to use 'em, when Victor ain't around, y'know?"

"Hmmm, I see. Well, I haven't given the showers a go yet. If you'd like I could go with you...could even 'hide' you just in case Whiskers comes out."

Fred chuckled, wiping his mouth.

"What, and traumatize you with my nakedness? Again?"

The thought of Victor's prank was enough to make Fred especially paranoid about taking a shower within the same country as the man.

"I'm plenty mature, despite popular belief. The offer is on the table if you so choose my friend."
