*El sat in the Rec. Room. Curfew was in 25 minutes and she figured she should head off to her room, she hadn't even met her room mate yet. She'd left all the lights off, and parked herself down in the corner of the room, her head resting against the wall.

She flicked her tongue against her teeth, forgetting she'd had to take her tongue piercing out

*Rahne had almost completed her quick self-tour of the compound, memorizing scents and locations should she need to get anywhere fast or even get out. The wolf was always thinking about a flight path just in case. She wandered into what was apparently the rec room, catching the scent of the woman inside. Rahne tried to put her concerns on the back burner for the moment, but it was difficult. She was still feeling guilty about Victor and so far she hadn't heard anything from anyone so maybe it would be kept under wraps, she couldn't say for sure. She thought it best to introduce herself even though she didn't much feel like talking to anyone at the moment.*

Hi. I'm Rahne, who're you.

*It was more a statement than a question as she was quite deadpan and also sleepy.*

*El looked up through the dark, able to make out the auburn hair tones and the colours of the clothes the woman near her was wearing.*

I'm El. *She paused.* And not as in 'the'.

Ah, so you're El. Well, looks like we're rooming together according to the boss man.

*Rahne made a note of this woman's scent and appearance, but what she really wanted to know was what her ability was. She couldn't be too hasty though, not with this one. Best to be on good terms with a roomie.*

Yeah, appears so. Bed on the left side of the room is free. And there's the locker waiting for you.

*She smiled and continued her game.*

Fair enough. So is there anything I need to know about you or your abilities? Any particular pet peeves, ground rules, yadda yadda?

*Rahne saw fine in the dark just like El could if not better and hadn't even noticed the light was off the whole time. Rahne just hung close to the doorway, making a note that the left bed was hers.*

Warn me before you turn the light on when you can, when its unexpected it hurts my eyes. I have complete control on my powers so they're not an issue.

*She turned laughing eyes towards her room mate.*

And don't steal my gum, touch my teddy or wear my clothes.

*She laughed.*

Light is overrated, don't worry about that, but what are your powers exactly if you don't mind my asking?

*Rahne figured this El gal was alright. It could have been a whole lot worse she supposed. As for her rules, well, she wouldn't think of taking anything that wasn't hers unless maybe it was a cigarette and she was flat out and feening for one. Rahne thought a moment if there was anything that she should tell her roomie just yet and couldn't think of anything she wanted to divulge.*

Hypnosis.

*She didn't feel it was necessary to point out the need for eye contact.*

By the way, I don't have gum or a teddy and I have like two outfits that aren't uniform.

*She then realized one important thing.*

You a smoker?

*Somehow hypnosis didn't make Rahne feel any better about the situation considering that if this gal wanted to, she could simply get any information out of her that she wanted to. It was unnerving.*

Yeah, I smoke cigarettes. You want me to go outside for that?

*Rahne wouldn't mind too much considering where they were but it was a little inconvenient. Best to make nice with the new people though, right?*

No, that's fine.

*El was a social smoker.*

I only smoke socially, a compromise. But no issue. You can smoke inside, just don't set the dorm on fire and we'll good.

[wolfsbane_rahne]

*Well that was a slight relief. Rahne nodded slightly.*

No problems there.

*Rahne noticed the clock on the wall. It was almost curfew. UGH. Curfew? Really? Curfew was a bad word to something as nocturnal as she was, however now that she had her roomie here, she supposed they should get to their room. Rahne feigned ignorance to suit her needs for the moment and pretended not to know where their room was exactly.*

So, would you mind showing me where the heck it is?

*Rhane smirked slightly, but not enough to reveal any teeth. She wanted to scope out where she would be and where everything and everyone was in relation to her.*

Not at all.

*El flipped a few more cards over, completing her game before packing them up. She stood from the floor and headed to the door.*

*Rahne nodded and followed, making no sound at all, stealthy as you please even though she wasn't trying at the moment, following El outside.*

*El shivered slightly at the expected but sudden cold, though she shrugged it off quickly. She headed up the hall a small way and stopped to open the door to their dorm.*
