Anyone here live in the Raleigh/Durham area and want to network?
If so, I want to network with you. I have valuable contacts and you have valuable contacts, so let's get this party started. I lived in the area last year, but have had a ridiculously tough time getting any NC employers to call me back because I live out of state ( couldn't find work in time to keep me from leaving, found a job finally back in the northeast, left, regretted it.. long story). The one that did lowballed me for a level of pay that I simply could not have lived on based on average rental costs and other expenses. Another wooed me, then sent me a Dear John letter after stringing me along for 3 MONTHS..
I am headed back to the area for Networking purposes in 2 weeks, and so far have only one informal meeting/informational interview with a CEO set up for the whole week. I'd like to have 2-3 ideally. If you can help, I have some friends in HR in the global health sector who I could hook you up with, as well as some jobs I wasn't qualified for but know the HM of.
