Okay then...
Three questions I was asked yesterday on an interview...
1. Why haven't you found a job yet? (My career field is dependent on state budgets and this was a state employer) My answer was "I had the misfortune to leave my last job during the middle of a recession. I attempted to find a job near me so that I did not have to relocate however, given the unemployment rate that was impossible. I have expanded my job search to attempt to find a job."
2. Why was there a break between your internship and your next job? "I had a three month break after the conclusion of my internship and the start of my next job due to the fact I had to complete three major tests and needed time to prepare for them. I accepted my position the day before I graduated."
3. Are you waiting to hear from us or are you continuing your job search. "I do have other interviews coming up as I desire to find the right position for me." So you are applying elsewhere? "I am."
