It was a girls weekend that brought three blonds and one brunette onto the little cruise ship. Just a short weekend, two night excursion that promised fun, sun, food, drink and dancing. For Tara and Sophie it was a chance to get caught up on the latest gossip, Maggie of course a talented little grifter when she needed to be chimed in on the conversation now and then. Even Parker who was usually the quietest was laughing and joking with the others. If anyone had passed by the table as the ship cruised out the harbor they would see nothing but four women having fun, but to the four of them, it was a chance to let their hair done and leave their worries at the dock.
Eliot just laughed, "What because I knew you needed an ice pack for your shoulder." He sat next to Parker on the couch and pulled her over to lay her head on his lap.
"But I didn't say anything about hitting my shoulder." Parker said as Eliot laid the ice pack on the injured muscle. "Ooh cold!"
Eliot gently brushed her hair out of her eyes and lightly rubbed her neck, "You didn't have say anything Parker, I just knew."
Parker smiled, "Thanks Eliot." She closed her eyes as he kneaded the knot out of her shoulder. "I still think you're psychic thought." She whispered.
"Why is that?" He asked quietly.
She looked up at him and smiled, "Because you always know just want I need."
"Eliot, what are you doing?" Parker asked as she walked into the little gym off the kitchen. "Its almost three in the morning."
Eliot picked up the remote and stopped the music he was working out to, "Sorry Parker, I didn't mean to wake you."
"You didn't really," She said as she walked over to him. "I just woke up and you weren't there." She took his hand in hers, "Again."
"I know, I'm sorry. I just can't sleep. Still." He said looking down at the clasped hands.
"He's fine Eliot. He said he was fine and I really think he is." She said softly.
"I know but I keep feeling like he's just saying that."
She pulled Eliot close and kissed him gently, "I feel bad too sometimes El but that doesn't change the fact that I love you." She pulled him with her toward the door, "Now come to bed." Winking at him she added, "I've got the perfect cure for your insomnia"
The bathroom was perfect. There were candles lit everywhere there was space, not anything overly scented just enough to cast some light. The bath salts were scented just right so that as the steamy water hit them they sent out the perfect smell through the large room. A nice cushy bath pillow was ready and warmed. The brand new loufa was sitting by the side of the tub. And last but certainly not least the music coming through the speakers was soft, jazzy and welcoming.
"Oh yeah," said Hardison as he sat down in the hot water, "Now this is the life baby."
