Computer equipment looms in the dim light, and now and then he turns to check something on one machine or another. Actually, he seems to know what he's doing. Mostly.]

[Tommy has grabbed an old t-shirt off the floor and is trying to use it to put out the fire threatening to start.]

[Billy grabs an old blanket that looks like it has been used many times for this exact purpose and assists]

[He leaves Billy to that and leans over to shut off some of the other units before they blow, too.]

[He takes some of the units in his hands and starts repairing them carefully]

[Tommy is more about the careful application of ridiculous amounts of brute force in as little time as possible. He hops over a tower and starts checking through the wires.]

[Frowning, he tugs a warped and split wire out of the bundle and tosses it aside, scrounging for another to replace it.]

I have faith you'll blow up the apartment and the only survivor will be Teddy and the monster spider under the sink.

Nah, Teddy'd drag you out. Seen the tape lately?

Okay, so Teddy, me, grievously wounded, and the monster spider.

And then I walk out of the flames at like, the last possible minute, before everything goes nuclear.

[This is all stated absently as he goes about fixing and patching and rerouting things.]

And then the monster spider mutates.
