Newbie Guide: The Essential McKay Fics

I'm trying to gather what people would consider the essential fics that aren't, as in most guides, exclusively McKay/Sheppard or Sheppard/Weir. So, go here and rec fics that you think are essential Rodney McKay gen and McKay/someone (other than Sheppard) fics.

1) Rodney-centric gen team fic or OT4 will go on the McKay essential fic list (and OT4 will also go in the Emmagan, Dex or Ford, and Sheppard (when I get there) essential fic lists as well).

2) I'm not collecting the recs on this comm, I'm collecting them in the post I directed everyone to which is in my personal LJ.
