we closed on our house tuesday! we are very excited to have a space FINALLY that is ours and we can do whatever we want to do with it. verrrrrrrry exciting! tonight we are going to buy some paint, so we can paint it up! the previous owners WALLPAPERED the kitchen in LIGHTHOUSES.......uhhhhhhhhh.
charlotte was belle last night. it was her first halloween. you really couldn't do much trick-or-treating in NY well for obvious reasons. she got the hang of it and was soon putting her pumpkin on the steps for the candy. i love how kids figure out halloween soooooo fast. she looked really cute tho.
i spent my morning "observing" at a potential employers. it was pretty fun. it's always hard to be the "newbie," but i guess it just takes time to get to know people and their personalities. everyone seemed nice, except the clientele was a bit more mature than i'd prefer, but, they can't all be 25 year old professional manhattanites now can they?
i've been having a rough time choosing where to work. i was offered two jobs, but i am perplexed. i'm just going with the place i feel i can still learn. so, any ladies coming my way are gonna have to come to the beeeeeeeeeach. word.
i'm just excited about doing hair full time and not assisting anymore. yay! and excited about burby life in general.
p.s. what are all these "salt life" stickers on people's cars? is this some sort of beach cult or something?
