In the wake of Sakurano Ayane's retirement (;_;) I thought we could all need something to smile about. It's rare that I find a show that I think showcase the musumeyaku as brightly as the otokoyaku, but after rewatching A Dream One Day (Yukigumi 2004) the other day, I found it to be one of those few shows that do exactly that. Except for Amase Izuru who annoyed me a lot in the role of Susie, all the female characters were amazingly well portrayed and given a lot of great moments. I, of course, adored Maikaze Rira as Elly (one of her most Maachan-ish roles ever), but I also thought Suzuhana Risa as Elsa, Alisa Miho as Lori and Miho Keiko as Edna were quite wonderful. The most shining of the supporting female characters, though, if you ask me was Franny played by Maisaki Rin, one of her own personal favourite roles and you can understand why! I've made a small digest of the scenes featuring her.

Being the romantic interest of Rocky, there's also quite a lot of current Hoshigumi nibante Ouki Kaname. ♥ I'll be making a digest of Elsa's scenes as well (mostly because Suzuhana Risa and Ozuki Tooma have the best chemistry ever) and share it once it's done.
If you haven't watched this show already, I can only warmly recommend it. Not only for the musumeyaku glory, but because the entire cast is quite amazing. I personally believe it's one of Yukigumi's best from this era, and Michael, the leading role, is my personal favourite with Asami Hikaru. During this week, I'll most likely be writing a review of it, so keep an eye out if you're interested. ;)
