Confusing Details
Does anyone have one of those confusing details that's not really relevant to the story but still makes you tilt your head and go, "huh?" and you can't get past it much?
For me it's the Kitchen in my mansion. Mind you, I haven't written this yet, I haven't even gotten past removing all of the moldy and stinky food in the outdated refrigerator. Anyways, I was contemplating my next move for discovering the first of at least two diaries my mc needs, and for what ever reason I find out in my contemplation someone wallpapered over the brick work in the kitchen. Maybe it's just my personal affinity for brick work, but seriously, why would anyone wallpaper over that sort of thing in a kitchen?
