I saw this a couple of days ago on Stephanies? blog - so sweet!
Not sure what to make of Aro ceding his chair to Stephenie.
Did you get the NM DVD? There's disappointingly little new stuff on there but I've been taking notes on the various commentaries that I will post at some point...
Yes, I got the DVD. Got to admit I only watched the Volturi scenes including the extended scene. Watched the Interview with the Volturi too and I have to admit, Michaels idea about Meyers writing a book solely about Aro is a great idea :D
It's not so much about it being perfect, it's about getting to the end of the damned thing! In truth, there's not that much on the Etruscans, just Aro giving Bella a little lecture on some of his personal history. ;)
In all honesty, the book on Bree doesn't bother me too much, and I'm quite looking forward to seeing what SM has to say - but if I, like you, had spent time thinking through what happened with newborns, I'd be pretty p***ed off too!

Please tell me you don't want early Aro as you have hopes of a fanfiction in that area yourself soon? :)

Am still slogging along with that fanfic I mentioned - in which more of Aro's Etruscan roots show than I'd originally thought.
Will post about DVD and other things when... when I have time.
Have been very busy. :(
But now have imminent job(s) so am dreaming with more vigour about a *ahem* historical research trip to Italy!
