Weekend Update..... (cue the spinning Head)
Ok so its more than just the weekend....
Wednesday....
We started refinishing the Wood Floor in the old townhouse, to anyone that ever visited, if you can remember how bad it looked, all black by the door? it cleaned up nice, no blackness.
Then it was running the last of my crap to the storage unit, and hanging out with Bren at his place (see previous Entry on that)
Thursday...
Thursday was the Wacky day... Rolled out of bed late and headed for the old place, did the last bits of cleaning, and put another coat on the floor, then the craziness began, I got to run all the way out to Dulles to get Kenny @ 5pm, and attempt to get all the way back to Glen Burnie to meet with Bren, Ginny, Carrie, and Liz B. to make game, and not let out of the bag that Kenny was in town...
Game was cool except for the whole "huge thing" but everything worked itself out.
Friday....
After a wacky day at work, I got to head for Gaithersburg/Germantown for wanderingchilde's surprise B-day party, I will fully admit it, she can drive me right up the wall alot of times, but has done pretty damned right by me in the end. The party was much Craziness, and Team General Ass-Clownery which was myself and evilizasevildoz did fairly well, it was cool to tool around with her in the car, and scaring her a little bit with my insane pizza-delivery boy moves. but the big weeners of the night definately have to go to avariael and her band of "Merry" Pirates, they made a hilarious mockery of the scavenger hunt list, and came back with some rather "interesting" things. By the end there was much tom-foolery, ass-clownery, and I got to have a nice conversation with Liz's non-gaming sister megger She is a damned cool Gal, I am sorry to see the horrible things that happened to her, she didn't deserve them, but she has kept her chin up and is still laughing about, Kudos to her!
Saturday.....
Working until 9pm on a game night sucks ASS!!!!
I got to hear by phone everything that I had missed, from the 2 character Deaths, to the attempted praxis, the best part is I got to hear all about it from someone who was in Illinois at the time, (Yes the news travels that fast, Horay Cellphones!!!) Once I go there, there was was absolutely awesome RP from all of the malks, especially madjulyin and the night turned out to not be a total bust. I headed home and after a late, late night phone call with a friend I found sleep sometime around 5am...
Sunday......
Work was nice and slow, nothing good to report, I flew the coop a few minutes early so I could hook-up with the new roommates whom I hadn't see at night since Monday. And we headed down to a local park for an Easter Egg Hunt. Yes, I will Repeat that, An Adult Easter Egg Hunt. Actually it was really fun, like everyone was kids again, and a good deal of the prizes were actually decent; massages, gift certificates for dinners, and other cool things... I however ended up with a water bottle and Lunch bag from the Rec & Parks division, I felt a little gipped, but atleast I got some kind of prizes :).
And now here I sit, finishing up some email and getting ready to hit the sack for yet another wonderful week, in "Naptown"
