A Day In Our Life, Jimmy Buffett Concert in Camden, NJ
James & Laurie, T-Minus 3 Days to 30 & 30 with a few years experience, Baltimore, MD & Philadelphia, PA
Ugh, What do you mean we have to be up already?
Time Check... 10:08am... Bleh, still too early for a Weekend.
So, we are in bed and don't want to get out... we are both naked... Honey, I have a Great idea...
Ahhh there we go, much better, an after snuggle kiss
Time Check... 11:04 am, a much better time to be awake and mobile
Hi Honey, How is the shower?
Save Water and Join you? Sounds Like a Plan!
Time Check, 12:55pm, ok, so we move slow, but we have the time :)
Dreary Day... not the best for an outdoor concert, but we can hope for sun but have fun either way
Heading out to get things, driving through Pennypack Park, rather pretty
Oh Look, It's a Wawa, Like we would stop anywhere else.
Half the breakfast sammich of doom, extra egg, extra cheese, extra bacon, extra omnomnom
And in the same parking lot of the Wawa is the Beer distributor
(PA has weird liquor laws, a regular package goods store can only sell beer but no more than a 12 pack at a time, for larger quantities you need to go to a beer distributor, and for wine and spirits you have to go to a state store, guess I better get used to it)
Why Hello Case of Yuengling, Horray Beer!
Ran to Wallyworld to get snacks but I only snapped one picture while there:
Ketchup Flavoured Chips, I have only ever seen them before when my friends from Canadia bring them down, they kinda taste like french fries with ketchup... only kinda.
Back home with the Haul, time to get packed up
Empty Cooler
Plus Beer
Plus Ice and Schnapps for the Lady = Happy Drinkers
But we will be smart drinkers, if the sun comes out, we will keep from being dehydrated
Ok, time to walk the dog and get ready to go
Time Check, 3:08pm, plenty of time before the concert to party and chill
But First a Cutesy Picture of us all dressed up to go.
(The Hawaiian shirts while being different colors had the same pattern, we matched *cuteness vomit*)
Time Check, 3:22pm We made it to the parking lot in record time!
People getting started with the party, Tailgating isn't just for (American) Football
Some People have rather elaborate setups, this one caught my eye with the buoy line and the little duckies caught the Fiance's eye
Pick-up Truck Volcano... Who Knew? (Well, I don't know, Where I'm a gonna go, when the Volcano Blows)
And far be it from the pirates not to be represented as well.
And the drinking... This is one of the more creative drinking apparati I have ever seen
(And these people were extra smart, they had the portable toilet in the green tent to the left)
We say this little guy stopping by for a little snack while waiting in line for a porta-potty,
He was just noming away at the foliage less than 15 feet from the people standing there and not having a care in the world
Wait... Sun?!?!
Finally, Beautiful Clear Skies
We packed things up and headed for the concert venue to grab our place on the lawn before too many people sobered up and saw what time it was.
A Bad Shot of the stage and a look around the lawn, things were still nice and sunny then.
Fins to the Left, Fins to the Right... but the best bait in town is mine :)

Once the concert got started I tried to take a few pictures of the stage, but they came out like crap so I gave up and partied along.
Just about intermission the day started catching up with us and the Fiance started getting the shakes real bad so we decided to play it smart and call it a night
Time Check, 9:54pm, Yeah, it is time to be heading out

Sure, I can drive, I am still wide awake

Why hello there Mr. Jackson, You were a good boy while we were gone, so you can have a treat
Time Check, 11:11pm, Guess I should have made a wish, time to relax
On the way back we stopped off at Checkers so I could sate my milkshake urge, Mmmm Banana Milkshake
And then to pass the time since I was still awake, I pulled out the models and starting doing some custom work.
Just about 2am, I decided to let the putty on the models dry a little and sprawled out on the couch to watch a little tv... just before 5am I get woken up to head back to the bedroom and get some real sleep. I didn't have the presence of mind to grab the camera, so no goodnight picture.
