Good News!

Well as they say, tomorrow is a new day... and today was exactly that.

Went to the hospital to see my father. He was alert, talkative, and cracking jokes. They took the breathing tube out last night and the feeding tube out while I was there today. There is still a long road of recovery ahead, but this is bright spot in what has been mostly a dark week.
Yes, he still has cancer and his overall time left is still unknown, but I will take what I can get for now.
