The unbelievable thing is...everything. Summer is coming. The things that used to be worth so much contemplation and over-analyzing seem to fit more appropriately into a quiet little space. I can think of a dozen metaphors and cliches that I could use to describe the coming months of my life, but why? Must I always describe?

I paid my first credit card bill EVER this morning. It was exciting. I also got my new checks in the mail...and... Wow. Money sure is interesting to me these days, isn't it? Something about having a job, working hard, making money, then discovering that you have to give a ridiculous portion of it to the government...will increase anyone's interest in the stuff.
