Lemon Tree
Toad says this morning:
"Froggie, what's happening to the limes". Frog looks at the lemon tree. The lemons are turning slightly yellow as they should be. Toad keeps frogetting it's not a lime tree, and that those 3 big honkin green things are myers lemons.
"Toad, they are turning into lemons".
"Oh, that's the best kind then, lemons."
Silly toad! lime trees make limes, lemon trees make lemons.
Les says my grapefruit trees might not do anything fruitfully, which is true, but so far they are growing. I just don't get how citrus trees evolved if they can't make trees from seeds.
But that's okay, i don't get how granny apple seeds don't usually make granny apples either, how does that whole apple doesn't fall far from the tree work on frog green apples?
