the new President!
so OBAMA is our new president!
that just made my day! really!
i was at my grandma's house getting over my stomachache and i get this text at like 8 something from my mom. she says' we won!' and i was like 'whut?' so i turned on the news and there it was: Obama 290, McCain 144.
i was just so happy!
i called my best friend and we were both crying and talking excitedly! then i saw Obama's speech and i starrted laughing and crying! i have'nt felt this good since Harry potter finally took down Voldemort. and the best part is that this isn't fiction. it's real life!
on a serious note, his win was just so , beyond amazing! i can't even describe it! His win means the world to me. now i can go to sleep and worry a little bit less than before. i got on facebook today and saw my friends were so happy. my cousin wrote this paper about how Obama's win changed his life- he can believe that he can do anything now! That is what i want the world to believe, because before last night, the American dream and the ideal that one could be anything they wanted... for a lot of people it was just not really possible. i believed it, but everybody thought i was being childish for believing so. Now the future is much more open for everybody. and now it's true that anybody can be president: white, black, male, female!
