Okay, I finally got it up and loaded and here it is: Teague kicking ass at USDAA mid December. It's so wonderful when things really click.

It's amazing what a little apology or acknowledgement about your space does! Fixes everything, easy peasy. I just have a hard time feeling sorry for barking or super tugging when a person who only feeds their dog sits in the middle of everyone's way completely oblivious. Okay, off soapbox ;)

Yep, I love the calming exercises. I work it all - calming t-touch type exercises, tricks, tugging, distance from the arena. I really try to be aware if the dogs in the arena are really sensitive to him, but I'm not always good at catching it. I do try though! If his bark wasn't so high pitched, gah! I guess there is always duct tape ...

Oh and I started putting him on a head halter - I love it! Works wonderous. Hopefully AKC won't be too anal about it...

I have to second a lot of this. Some dogs are just Talkers! (or yellers, sometimes). To remove that is to fundamentally remove something the dog IS...
