these two sentences were gushed over us by an elderly woman yesterday whilst Divine and i held hands and walked around the glorious gastronomical wonders of the 'Taste' expo.
we burst into laughter and were so happy for the rest of the day.
maybe this woman, possibly in her mid to late 60's, had just come out and was discovering the joys of the queer world. maybe she was just happy to see other queers happy to be out and proud and wanted to share in our contenment.
either way, it warmed us, possibly more than the food and alcohol.
