THEY ARE THE CUTEST. God. When I left you that first comment I wasn't even this far down the rabbit hole, I was just like, "Oh hey, they're cute."

Did you see how cute Liam was last night? Did you see how cute ALL OF THEM were last night? First on SNL and then Liam decided that twitter was where he was going to be THE MOST ADORABLE.

There is an invisible line somewhere between "oh they're cute" and "help, I'm totally addicted", and you never know when you're going to hit it until suddenly you're on the other side. My line is usually much, much further away from the first-sighting stage, and it usually involves reading about 20k of fic before going crazy. I don't know what happened. I blame their faces.

SO CUTE. They are reaching illegal levels of cute. They looked SO HAPPY the entire time. I was worried, because I had just watched the whole documentary about Harry's meltdown after messing up on live TV, and then at the beginning of Harry's first solo Zayn reached over and poked him in the face, and LOOK AT THE LITTLE BABIES TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER. I am convinced that was a "don't be nervous, we're right here" poke. <3

Also, Liam said something on the twitcam about surfing, and I cannot wait for the fallout from that.

There needs to be so many videos from Australia. I mean, there will be interviews, of course, but I want video diaries and, I don't know, I just want to watch them fooling around with each other, because I am apparently that kind of stalker person.

Once you find Harry's hair cute you can NEVER UNFIND IT CUTE. It's terrible. The worse and more ridiculous it looks the better it is.

I am secretly, terribly glad that they have such good stalker fans because it means we get to see virtually everything, and they twitter themselves so much you barely miss a thing. Thanks, kids. Now be adorable at each other some more.

I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount of STUFF out there for them, between twitter and videos and pictures and all. I mean, I know I'm consuming over a year's worth of stuff here, but it seems like a lot. Please let them never change. (It's ridiculous, but at the thought of watching them develop as a band, I get all flaily.)

No, I am totally weirdly proud of them for everything they've accomplished and I sincerely hope they stay this grateful and adorable and silly for a long long time so I can enjoy it. Eventually they have to grow up but this is just PERFECT right now.

Louis has the attention span of one of my twelve-year-olds. He is ridiculous. Clearly some of that is acting out for the camera, but still, ridiculous. I love how Liam and Niall and Harry work the whole time, Louis runs around like a crazy person, and Zayn goes to sleep. (You totally pegged them in your story re:farm work, I am so amused.)

YES. Louis is... I feel like Louis is VERY aware of how he comes across, and he does it deliberately to lighten the mood and keep everyone amused. But I bet he is totally occasionally quiet and smart. (Heee. ♥ I am pretty good at extrapolating normally, but that wasn't even HARD. They are SO THEMSELVES all the time. It's funny, because they weren't picked to be the Cute One, the Heart Throb, the Bad Boy, etc. but they are SO well defined anyway.)

I want to read so much about Louis doing ridiculous things with intent, and then being serious when the time calls for it.

Okay, first, I am SO GLAD that I have someone to talk about all this stuff with. ♥ ♥ ♥ IT IS SO MUCH MORE FUN THIS WAY.

Them being assholes to each other is my favorite. Harry Styles won my heart when he started asking fans if Zayn could have their phone number. So Liam being mean to Zayn (kind of) is just delightful. I think the best thing is how they are BOYS with each other, even when they are climbing all over each other.

Yes. I want to read about Louis' secret plans to make them all become best friends forever. He clearly has them. He keeps saying in the doc that his dream is for them to stay "friends like this always." I think he's a lonely kid, actually. Aww, Louis.

THAT MAKES ME HAPPY! I am having so much fun with all this, and all I want to do is chatter about them and write ridiculous stories and share pictures, forever. So I'm glad I'm not annoying you by commenting all over the place. (Please let me know if I am!)

Yeah, it's not all sunshine and cuddles land: they tease each other like siblings, the way you can only do when you're close enough to someone to know all their weak points, and how they're going to respond half the time. I bet they have moments of hurting each others' feelings and getting on each others' nerves, and somehow I find even that adorable; it's a reflection of how well they know each other.

Lonely Louis sounds like the saddest story in the world. (There is a lot of alliteration in that sentence.) He's kind of loud and abrasive and touchy, I bet not everyone has reacted well to that in the past. So now he has his four best friends, and he's going to hold onto them!

have you seen Zayn and Harry fighting? It's like a 10 second clip in the background of one of Liam's twitcams, just enough to see Harry shove Zayn and Zayn yell, "Stop being such a twat!" and then Harry storms off and Zayn bitches to Louis off camera, "I didn't even MEAN it like that," and then Liam and Louis get REALLY LOUD and distracting so no one can hear the fighting.

Ahaha, someone reading the fic I'm writing just told me it's like Liam and Louis are the dysfunctional mommy and daddy of the band, which, YES. IT IS. I would DEFINITELY read them fighting and the rest of the band being really baffled about how to fix it because normally Louis and Liam fix everything. (Damn it, this is totally fixed by KISSING is how it's fixed.)
