“Don’t you think I’m even sexier now?” he asks, red hat still askew on his head.
“What do you mean?” Rose counters, stalling for time.
“Sexy. Me. This.” He waves a hand over himself impatiently. “The suit.”
“Oh?” She tilts her head and frowns as she pretends to contemplate his question.
He blinks at her from behind his big, square glasses, a frown across his face as she lets her eyes wander the lines of his body.
“No,” she says finally. “Sorry.”
His shoulders slump. “Oh. Right. Well, that’s fair enough, I suppose. Not your faul-”
“I preferred the pyjamas.”
