A Different Fit
--
His hair flops down into his eyes again and that, he thinks, is very annoying. He tries to ignore it, but he’s still so very sensitive, his skin tingling and alive, new nerves and cells and all that bloody hair, flopping into his eyes is a right distraction.
“Hang on,” he says and balances on one arm as he tries to brush it back. His rhythm falters as he very nearly topples all over her and she laughs, her muscles contracting around him.
“More hair this time,” she says, brushing it off his forehead and raking her nails across his scalp.
She hitches a leg up, back of her heel pressing into his rear and urging him on and he groans, that fantastic vocabulary temporarily failing him as the angle changes. He lifts her leg higher, bending it over his shoulder, and then it’s hot and sweaty and so very good. He bites the inside of her knee and she arches into him. It’s good, he thinks. Fantastic and brilliant and better.
He thought they might be, this body and Rose.
Their bodies are slick, sliding deliciously over one another as he moves into her, she moves around him and they fit, the two of them.
She pulls him down, hands fisted in his hair, and he’s only glad to kiss her. That’s good too, he thinks, pulling away as he hits upon something that makes her mouth open in a silent cry.
He opens his eyes to watch her, only to find his bloody hair is in the way again. He rubs his forehead against the side of her neck, burying his face against her collarbone, and this regeneration, he realises, may need to invest in some hair gel.
