These are lovely. I snagged a couple, and I think I might upload them right away (which is rare for me, actually). Will credit of course.
Barely on subject, but I love how you've glomped onto Downfall lately. That's one of my favorite songs and has been for a long time. I saw MB20 in concert about 2 months ago, I think, and it's just so good live too.
Ooh, aren't they just brilliant? I saw them last month when they were in Sydney... I was a fan before, but now? I've been listening to the CD on repeat in my car ever since. *g* My favourite song is Could I Be You - and I've canoodled a friend into making a fanvid for me. *g*
Oh, and I'm glad you liked these. Feel free to help yourself. :)
I *love* them. They're probably my favorite band in concert. Because, you know, the albums are brilliant, but just as you said: once you see them in concert? That's it. It's totally over. You just get sucked in by them.
Could I Be You is brilliant - I can't wait to see the fanvid you friend's making! lol! It's also one of the songs with the best story behind it - Paul wrote is ABOUT Rob. Out of the blue, played it for Rob one day. Rob says, "Um...yeah, that needs to be on our record." So they record it as a band, and now Rob sings the song about himself. LOL.
Out of curiosity...what was the Australian cover that they played at your show? A bunch of my friends have been obsessing over their Australian covers from this tour - they played a different one at every show!
Oh, brilliant - I'll definitely check out those vids, thanks. I didn't think to take a camera with me, so I only got some blurry shots on my phone - and we were *so* close to the stage. Such a wasted opportunity.
They sung an INXS song - don't remember which, but it was the same song they sung the night before. (They admitted it. *g*)
I didn't know it was written about Rob, but I knew it was written by the guitarist. *is amused now*
Interesting. One night they did Kylie Minogue. I kind of think that's awesome. lol.
And yeah, true story about Could I Be You. Um...it's not a slashy thing or anything. They're just best friends. But for some reason this particular time seeing them in concert I couldn't get past the fact that Rob was singing about himself ;) lol.
I was actually amazed at how GOOD things came out at this show. I did NOT have particularly good seats - I was all the way in the back of the venue. But for whatever reason my camera decided to be awesome at that show. The vids came out really, really well. (Unlike the Death Cab one there, which came out AWFUL).

I was in the 17th row, centre of the room. Brilliant, brilliant seats.
