“Always thought it was rubbish, but it’s just like they say, isn’t it? When you...” She trails off, flushing pink, and he’s amazed words can embarrass her, pressed against him as she is, glorious and naked.
He curls a strand of her hair around his finger and he’ll never understand, he decides, these humans and their funny little quirks. “What’re you on about, then?”
She turns her face into his chest. “When we have sex, it feels like the world moves in slow motion.”
“Ah, right.” And he’s ridiculously glad she can’t see him turn a matching shade of pink.
