Bud to bloom
Nice when it's warm enough to roll the windows down but cool enough to wear my teal blazer and jeans. When it's sunny enough to wear glasses, but shady enough to see without a glare. The puppies from outside of petsmart find good homes. Daffodils at Whole Foods are $5 for 30 stems. Olive oil comes infused with garlic and rosemary. Tastes like Italy when paired with toasted bread and wine. You'll be here soon. Be here soon. Soon I'll sleep on my new, clean, soft-blue striped sheets. wake to another day of wonder and productivity.
Life's nice when you learn to find joy in the work you must do. I have a good job. It doesn't pay much, but it's a good job. And I love the graduate program I'm in. And I love cleaning and decorating and rearranging the old apartment I live in with my free-spirited roommate.
And I can't wait to go to Bonnaroo in a few months!
