I still prefer hot tea even if it's hot out. Right now I'm having Irish Breakfast in my Mexican ceramic mug with big psychedelic looking flowers on it.

Cool cup!
at home I prefer hot tea no matter what. At a restaurant I'll do iced tea-unsweet.

a friend of mine whose grandfather was from southern China told me that he taught her that drinking hot tea on a hot day can actually cool you off. I thought that sounded really counterintuitive until I tried it and it works!

Apparently it's mostly to make you sweat, which will cool you off. ick.

Speaking of China, you know what's unexpectedly good, an iced Oolong tea. It makes for some lovely, hybrid culture, summer drinking.

I'm splitting the difference. I've lots of iced mint herbal at the moment, and piping hot lady grey, jasmine, and a deep black cream tea which is making me unreasonably happy atm.

Nothing like iced mint tea on a hot day.

I'm the one who prefers iced tea even when it's cold. LOL!
