When I graduate this May, I plan on staying in Indiana and getting my teaching certificate here. I've been going over the requirements for biology teachers, and according to the Indiana Board of Education, I must be able to:
"Understand and explain that molecular evidence substantiates the anatomical evidence for evolution and provides additional detail about the sequence in which various lines of descent branched off from one another."
I don't think I've ever been so proud of my state before.
