Realizing. . .
Have you ever realized how "white" feminism is? Its tenets, its goals. . .all centered around the "white" experience. Have you ever realize, also, how much womanism deals with the woc (women of color) perspective? To make matters worse, this translates into each sect's different pedagogy.
And to top the cake, I have a professor reviewing my proposal who doesn't "believe" in womanist pedagogy. Because she won't sign off on my research question, everything that I have done is considered inapplicable. I don't want to look at my curriculum from a feminist pedagogical pov. . .give me my darn womanist pov, please!
