So, I am going to freaking kill myself and take 9 hours each semester, take the LSAT on September 30, 2006, apply to 10-15 law schools, and be a full time teacher. I'm so excited about it all. I know, I'm the biggest masochist you know ( Read more... )

Not to encourage you to focus only on the rankings, but 5 of those schools are in the top 14 (the elite) and then Seton Hall is #70. What's up with that?

How far from NC are you willing to go? My list for you would be (these are their rankings)

4. NYU (if you do well enough on the LSAT, maybe also Columbia #4)
7. Penn
8. U Mich
11. Duke
12. Northwestern
14. Georgetown
19. George Washington (DC)
27. UNC
32. Fordham (NYC)
43. American University

I wouldn't go much below #50 unless you really would go to a lowly ranked school that gave you lots of money - ultimately I couldn't do it. I'm a prestige whore, what can I say?
