I was going to say 'go home,' and then I saw The Master Chief's answer. It wouldn't feel right to go knowing that my friends here were still in trouble.

No, we don't get a choice. But if we did... if the war were brought to an end, and we were given a choice... I suppose I ought to have specified that.

Yes. I... I found my father here. I would have never met him, had I lived out my life back home. And... there are others...

My... my mother was here, briefly. I do not know what happened to her. Perhaps she too, is dead, back where I came from.
