I Think I'm In Love . . .

 . . . With Sara Ramirez.

I know, I know. I've been kind of promiscuous lately. Bouncing from woman to woman. And I'm kind of greedy, too, because it's not like I'm dumping the women for others. I'm simply adding on. Because, I mean, while I'm declaring my love for Sara Ramirez, I should also declare it for Jessica Capshaw. I mean . . . I can't help it. I'm just all in love over here and nothing hurts.

But, I mean, c'mon. Sara Ramirez. What's not to love? Stunningly beautiful? Check! Real curvy body? Check! Achingly good singing voice? Check! Spectacular acting chops? Check! What seems like a bad ass [/Calliope Torres] real life personality? Check!

She inspires my devotion. She inspires my heart. She inspires my dirty thoughts . . . It's just all rather inspirational.

There's still a part of me that's kind of embarrassed for loving Grey's Anatomy as much as I do because I resisted for so many years due to it's extreme popular appeal, but I need to get over this. Because it's surprisingly good. And I love so many of the characters: Bailey, Addison, Cristina, Meredith, Owen, Mark, Teddy, Arizona and, yes, of course, Callie. And my OCD comes back to haunt me because Grey's Anatomy and Sara Ramirez are all that I do when I'm not working (or actually being not lame and being social) because they balm my soul.

So, yes, Sara Ramirez: I pretty much kind of love you. And I still love Hope Solo, don't get me wrong. I still love Lucy Lawless. But I've been in the mood for full bodied Latina lately and it feels fine.

So, please, let me leave you with two videos.

The first is from the 2005 Tony Awards, where Sara won Best Featured Actress In A Musical. Woman had a raging cough that night and still sang like this . . . Is it any wonder that I've fallen in love?

I leave on the following scene for such totally obvious reasons. (And this is not to endorse Callica, though I did like it while it lasted . . . Full on Calzona lover here and proud of it!)
