I so agree that there is a tiny moment of expression that is very much "You know, that makes a lot of sense".
I'm going to have to watch some Xena. Sounds interesting.
I think I said in a previous comment that I sometimes see Laura and D'Anna as kind of counterparts of each other, so I wish they had more scenes like this. Laura is the human D'Anna, and D'Anna is the cylon Laura. I dunno why I think that, but I do. Just like I see Zarek and Cavil as counterparts.
#23 - I think this moment was what really made Laura suddenly realise that maybe humans and cylons aren't that different. D'Anna's comment is exactly what Laura would have done in the same situation. And the nod definitely says that she agree with D'Anna.
#24 - adore this scene. How many actors could turn nine words, two hugs and a kiss on the cheek into such a gorgeous, satisfying, beautiful declaration of love scene? Mary and Eddie just ... they slay me. Completely. Especially when you think that their relationship was (I don't think) ever intended to happen from the start. It just grew from the way they played Laura and Bill.

Also, yes. Watch Xena. The first two seasons are good fun and then the third season happens and it's like, "Frak. This show's pretty awesome."

Or maybe I wish they'd just explored the cylon DNA thing further, instead of just using it as a deus ex machina and then pretty much forgetting about it. Laura as a different type of human/cylon hybrid to Hera? That's cool.

I mean, it obviously effects her. Not only did it put her into remission, but I have to imagine Hera's blood is the reason she has those opera house visions. The others who have them are cylons or, in Hera's case, a hybrid. Baltar's in the vision but he doesn't share them with the women. That speaks to something in Laura being "off" with her pre-Epiphany self, right?
So much with Laura that could have been explored that wasn't about her cancer. Just imagine what season three could have been had they decided to focus their energy on that kind of story line instead of just kind of relegating Laura to the background until her cancer came back.

I suspect that she had those specific visions because she had some kind of a connection to Hera, but I don't know that it was exactly because of her cylon connections, if that makes any sense?
Oh god, I could write you a list of things I wish they'd explored with Laura that they just ignored. Mind you, if I was writing the show, it'd be basically the Laura Roslin Show, so it's probably a good job I didn't.
