I always have a new year's resolution for the beginning of every school year instead of in January. Last year's was to try and give fewer detentions but I don't think it worked very well..
This year's is: Be more assertive.
... So far so good, anyway...
In other, more relevant news, I'm looking forward meeting all my lovely (I hope) new students and re-aquainting myself with the older members of the school. I do hope you're all feeling ready to do some hard work. I know you'll all be glad to hear that I have some essay titles ready for everyone... >D
Freshmen - you'll be told this formally, of course, but if you've got any problems at all, just ask. Any of the teachers will be more than willing to help or I'll hunt them down and beat them with sticks, including me! You'll all settle in just fine, trust me.
