Mimio boards
So our school recently purchased these boards for all classrooms in the school. It's like a Smartboard, but cheaper. Trouble is, my projector only reaches so far from my computer (it's a desktop) and the only open space in my room that it will reach is the piece of wall 8 feet up over the top of the door. Integrating new technology is difficult when you can't hook it up.
Also, the demonstration I saw of the software made it look really time-consuming to create lessonsand from what I understand you can't use the tools outside of the program (once again, I can't test this right now, but I am pretty certain that websites designed for smartboards won't work).
Does anyone use this? Do you have any effective resources for when I finally get it hooked up?
