I love holidays
I love holidays because I can do what I like to do - quilting; family tree; and yes school work. School is also a hobby of mine - sometimes I enjoy it, and sometimes I do not.
But .... back to quilting.
Yesterday I continued with Peter's nieces quilt.
This is the third quilt I have made Amanda - The first just didn't seem right so I gave it to someone else as a gift. The second is still in pieces and I'll probably make baby quilts out of it.
The third quilt is beautiful. I really want to keep it - BUT I know I can't. I hope Amanda likes it.
So....
Yesterday I pieced the back with long strips using the colours in the quilt. I then spent from 3.30ish to 1.30 basting the backing to the batting. I I only got half way. It is a BIG quilt.
Enough chat - back to basting!!!
