Mom
Well, I've been off of work since Wednesday and will be off until January 3. I'm gald, I needed a break. I think I always feel like I need a break. Anyways, I've spent my days getting ready for Christmas..except for Wednesday; busy with doctor's appointments (part of the fun of once having a cancer mass. As if that wasn't enough, I then spent a very irritating afternoon shopping with my father for Christmas dinner. I have to cook it, but it's nice I didn't have to buy it. The last couple days have been spent knitting like crazy, last minute shopping, cleaning, baking, and just generally getting ready for the hoiday. You know that Chex mix commercial where this woman remembers her mom's get togethers at Christmas and now she's the mom? Well, that's how I feel this Christmas. Now I'm the one hosting the Christmas festivities. I'm going to try to fit in church on Christmas Eve. I think I may check out what's happening at St. Mary's. Most likely I'll be here..knitting or cooking.
