Quiet Weekend

This weekend has been quiet, but I'm happy with that. Friday night I got suckered into going to a PartyLite party. I ended up spending waaaayyy too much money on candles. This is why I never go, but then I guilted into going. I'm a pushover..what can I say. After the party I went to Beartooth with a couple of work friends. We saw Hide and Seek and drank beer. That was pretty fun. Next morning I received a call from northrngirl and she brought me rhubarb and we ran some errands. First stop was this yarn store in Spenard...where Angie talked me into buying this beautiful yarn...THAT WAS REALLY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!! I told her she was evil, she laughed, I bought the yarn and off we went to look at condos/apartments. Then we ate in Eagle River and we stopped at Barnes and Noble..where for once, I purchased nothing (couldn't, I bought hideously expensive yarn instead..lol). Then my friend Chris called and I went over there and watched a DVD. Mostly, I think he just wanted to vent about the ever occuring drama in his life. I just listen and nod my head from time to time, trying desperatly to keep my opinions to myself.

Today, is just a general quiet housekeeping day. I'm doing laundry, cleaning, and starting a new knitting project. So today is good. Too bad I have to go to work tomorrow. That's life I guess..
