alive and well?
I'm alive. I am sick. I don't think I got the piggy flu, because I think (based on the students in my class) that I would have been sicker. I had a fever for 4 days. I am stuffy, I am coughing now (that just started though) and my head hurts. And soooo sleepy. I return to work tomorrow, for a field trip, so I don't have to talk or teach too much. It will be a good day.
The kids are getting so old. Averie and I went this past weekend to my favorite cousin's wedding in Kansas City. Averie wasn't too into the wedding, I think she was tired and cold (it was semi-outside...like in a covered barn with open walls.) Logan has been taking speech 2 times per month, and I've noticed a lot of improvement with him. He still doesn't "talk" but makes words more now.
School is going pretty well. I like my class a lot this year - they are sweet and cute! And lots of personality. They seem to be pretty even-keeled for the most part. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop - perhaps having a sub for 2 days will be that shoe? LOL
