I'm Going to go Insane!
I tell you what... getting ready for a brand new school year is always time consuming. However, I'm looping up with my first graders which means that the majority of the children I had last year will now become my second graders. This makes getting ready even harder. I have had to change just about everything in my room so that it will be new to them otherwise they'll settle into their old "first grade" routines. Blah. It's just killing me because I spent most every day in my classroom on most last week and few on the week before. I still have a lot of work to do... poop.
I'm also trying to finish up the last of my assignments for my Master's portfolio which I need to get mailed off. It is not fun to work on your master's degree while planning a wedding. So, these are the two reasons I have been completely MIA from the computer. Well, not the computer but the internet (the computer is attached at my hip and I sware I'm going to type to the point my fingers will fall off).
I will be one amazingly happy little camper once I've got the school year started off and that darn portfolio mailed. The portfolio is due by September 15th and my goal is to have it mailed off this week so that it's out of my hands before the school year starts. Plus, I need to get my degree and everything so my paperwork is in my district office in October so I make the due date to qualify for my salary increase.
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
