Vancouver
We went to Vancouver, BC on the last weekend of March with our friends Chris & Breaya and had an absolute blast. Unfortunately, we neglected to take very many photos. So, I only get to torture you with a few...
First, here we are at the beginning of a never ending walk (we walked all the way over to Stanley Park and all over Vancouver for hours and hours and hours):
While on our walk there was this statue of a little old lady sitting on a park bench and going through her purse... what could I do but pretend to mug her?
While on our walk we of course wandered into a liquor store to see if they had this wine Breaya and I had fallen in love with at a restaurant the night before after we arrived... we found it (it's called Angus and is very yummy). We didn't much care for it mixed with cheeses but all alone it was QUITE good... so we zipped back to the Marriott and enjoyed some in their room:
And as we sipped our wine our hubbies hooted and hollered at March Madness (this is Chris):
And then we all changed and headed out for one of the most divine dinners I have enjoyed in a long time. It's called "C" and was just amazing. Breaya and I both got the tasting menu with wine pairing. It was a ten course meal! I was in heaven the entire time!
And, while there I noticed that right by the door, studying a script was Beau Bridges.
We had an amazing time in Vancouver and we love travelling with Chris & Breaya which always makes it even more fun! So, we're looking forward to more weekend trips away! :o)
