Historically we have spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas days with my IL's. My mom hosts a day after thanksgiving celebration so as not to conflict and we seem to celebrate Christmas with my side on a random day before or after Christmas.
My mom & stepdad live 2 hours away and my IL's are 90 minutes away. So we can't really drive from place to

Thanksgiving Day - we're hosting Jake's whole family + one of my brothers who is coming for me. :)
Friday after - Jake's working 5am-1pm and I'm going to my dad's that evening, but Jake doesn't want to go since my dad isn't coming to our house. I want Jake to be the bigger person, but he doesn't want to.
Christmas Eve - we'll be with my family, possibly at my aunt's house, MAYBE at mine if I can talk people into it. We'll see. My cousin will be here with her 7 week (or so) old baby. Dad + extended family all live in Shoreline/Lynnwood/Mill Creek/Bothell, so it makes more sense to go out there BUT Jake doesn't get off work until late on Christmas Eve (usually) which means he'd either a) totally miss the celebration or b) we'd have to take two cars out there which is a PITA.
Christmas Day - We always spend the morning together at home. I instituted this when we got married because when we have kiddos, I want our family to wake up and have Christmas morning together. I didn't really ask on that, I just decided it. We'll probably go over to the ILs around 10am this year because I'm need to be at the airport by 3:30-4pm on Christmas afternoon to go see my mom & grandparents in AZ. He's unhappy about me leaving on Christmas Day, but I'm making it up to him by going to his parents house early (which I don't like to do). I don't know what the heck I'll do if their remodel isn't done and we need to host Christmas. Ahhhhh!
Wow, that turned into a novel, sorry!
