I've been consistently going and "revisiting" two items on the Ballard Designs web page and am trying to decide about whether or not I want to purchase them.  It's been several weeks since they both caught my eye and I'm still in love with them.  So, we'll see.  I'm putting them both here for safe keeping.

Vintage Giclee Print:

Iron Azincourt Wall Hanging (it's pretty big~ 50" diamater I believe).  It's available in an antique bronze or an antique red color:

Back I go to redoing the bathroom while Brad's away (it's quite the project and is very much reminding me how much I hate painting in small spaces).  ;o)  Hopefully it will all come out beautifully and I'll have much to report later!

Here's the color of the walls (it's Behr's Spring Hill and is the largest square in the sample below).  The cabinets, ceiling, moulding and mirror are all the offwhite color in the sample square:

From Pottery Barn I've purchased the glass shelf pictured below as well as a triple-sconce in the same style with flared milk glass shades:

And finally, this mirror which I'm painting to match the cabinets (it'll be offwhite instead of the stark white that it is right now):

From Restoration Hardware I've purchased these items:

This banded bath "rug" in "celery" which is huge (30"x50") and covers practically the whole floor:

These handles to update the cabinet doors below the sink (the second handle from the top that has the white flower int he middle):

And, what's a visit to Restoration Hardware without a ridiculous impulse buy?  I bought hand soap and hand lotion in "lemon grass" and it came in a lovely silver caddy (it matches the bathroom's color scheme and I'm a dork so I bought it):

I also spent some time at home depot where I bought some primer and spray paint to paint some of our fixtures silver and bought a new shower curtain rod and other boring items.  I did manage to go to Anthropologie at some point too and bought these fun little items to spruce up the bathroom as well:

These in a sage green with a silver base for the cabinets above the toilet:

I also got some switch plate that had a sage green sort of toile look to them, three hooks that are silver but at the top have a ceramic sphere with a letter on them and I got two J's and a B so I can hang our monogram on the back of the door and those aren't available online either!  :o(

Needless to say, I've got my work cut out for me.  Last night I removed all hardware, primed the cabinets and door and moulding and then did my first coat of the wall color.  Today I had to run a few errands but have managed to do the second coat of wall color, prime and paint the hardware and fixtures silver that I didn't feel like paying to replace (including the dumb toilet paper dispenser and some of the exposed plumping pipes that are behind the toilet and things), primed and painted the can light base, the fan cover... I am a painting fool today!

I forgot how much this stuff really wears you down.  I am beat.  Brad is in San Diego for a bachelor party/surfing weekend and I pick him up tomorrow from the airport.  I am making him put the triple sconce up and may make him paint the ceiling too (we'll see if I can handle it).  I don't trust myself with things that can electrocute me!  ;o)
