A sweet smile from Graendal as she sat with legs crossed modestly, not that her embroidered green silk gown left much to the imagination with a neckline so low that her ample figure constantly seemed in danger of overflowing. She idly toyed with a red-gold curl constantly wrapping it around her beringed finger. Shifting slightly, she gently patted the man on whose back she was sitting. She had such wonderful pets. Her voice was clear and musical as she asked sweetly.
"So Mesaana, what have you learned about these two?"
Mesaana glances at the man, unable to keep the repulsion out of her eyes. Graendal was no better than the wench Malacoda with her pets and affection for jewelry and low-cut gowns. But not to be underestimated, which was why Mesaana had no intention of sharing more than was necessary. She takes the time to heat the tea in front of her before answering, and picks up the cup.
"Just that they seem to be working... more closely together. Recently." She takes a sip. "Lanfear seems concerned about Ishamael."
A light laugh as she waved a hand encrusted in gold rings at Mesaana with a coy look. Ishamael was an interesting card in this matter and always a dangerous one. With all her years of studying the mind, she could be certain that the man was deranged, but that did make him easier to discount. A flippant comment.
Mesaana purses her lips, replacing the cup on the table.
"About his recent activities," she says as though continuing, essentially ignoring the other woman's question. "Especially concerning his current -" her eyes go down to the man Graendal was sitting upon as she says the last word "-distraction."
