I wasn't sure I was quite done with this fic, but then a stray black cat literally crossed my path this evening and I decided it was a sign. After all, this week's all about superstitions, right?

Two things:-

Firstly, this was a perfect short fic for a Friday after a horrible week at work. Nice and warm without too much sugar.

Secondly, I love your writing style here. It's very clean and uncluttered, but with some lovely images. I particularly liked:

If Doyle buys cat food, he's going to have to admit to himself that he really wants to keep the cat. Moreover, he's going to have to admit that to Bodie. ;)

Oh this was lovely. It has a really nice, gentle, warm, feel to it which just gives us this picture of how they belong together. Oh and I agree you can't wake the cat, we are there to serve them after all *g*. Thank you.
